Frequently Asked Questions About Golf Lessons at Kota Permai
Do I need to be a Kota Permai member to take golf lessons?
No. You do not need a club membership or guest pass. Our lessons are open to anyone at the driving range and practice area. Membership only affects green fee rates if you later decide to play the course.
How long is a typical golf lesson at Kota Permai?
Most sessions run for one hour. Your coach may adjust the length depending on the format (private sessions tend to be more focused, group sessions may run slightly longer) and what you are working on that day.
Can I take a lesson at the driving range without playing the course?
Yes. Most students spend their first several weeks or months training exclusively at the driving range and practice area. There is no requirement to book a round on the course. Your coach will let you know when you are ready for on-course play.
What happens if it rains during my lesson?
The driving range has a covered upper level, so light rain usually does not interrupt a session. If conditions are too heavy to continue, your coach will work with you to reschedule. WhatsApp us to rearrange.
Is there parking at Kota Permai?
Yes. The club has its own car park with plenty of spaces. Driving is the most common way to reach the club, though it is also accessible via the KESAS and ELITE highways with LRT Alam Megah nearby.
Can I take golf lessons at Kota Permai if I live outside Shah Alam?
Absolutely. Some of our students travel from Puchong, Subang, Petaling Jaya, and other parts of the Klang Valley. The club’s location in Kota Kemuning puts it close to several major highways, so the drive is usually straightforward.

Senior Golfers Package: RM298 per person, Wednesday AM or PM only (not applicable on public holidays).
Tournament Package for Corporate Events: RM338 per person nett (weekdays only, not applicable on public holidays). Minimum 100 players.
